Tomorrow we'll set off for a long drive to England! :D Yay, I shall try to find Singapore in London. ;)Feeling really excited right now. I booked tickets for a musical and a play in England. One in London, one in Oxford. ;) Love Never Dies, the sequel to the Phantom of the Opera, plus A Midsummer Night's Dream. Since I acted in the Midsummer Night's Dream, I'm really curious to see how it's staged and acted professionally.
Can't wait for London's Chinatown too! Yummy dim sum and Asian food. Should be cheaper than in Basel. ;)
We'll be visiting Oxford and Cambridge too, the 2 university towns. Haha, see how it's like. Maybe I might try to apply to these unis? :P Difficult though...
Sigh, I'm suddenly missing MGS so so much. :( Scrolling through all the photos of my friends dressed up for prom really makes me miss them even more! I had planned to return. And I had planned to go for the dinner. :/ Spent so many years in MGS, finally didn't graduate from it - sad. And I even missed the dinner. :'(
Look forward, that's all I can do. School hols are ending soon, so I'd better gear up for Grade 10, my sec 4 year. I hope there'll be new students and I can find new and better friends... Hmm, at least, I think this year's summer hols have been a little more interesting than last year's when I just arrived in Basel. But somehow, I don't feel happier.

Personal project ongoing, research for my holiday to England ongoing, eating out at restaurants in Basel, visiting Basel's museums with a card for youths for free entry ^^... AND all of a sudden, my silly camera decides to crash.
I seriously need it for my personal project and now my project has come to a standstill for a few days. No point making my dishes when I can't take photographs. And even worse, I have to repeat making some of them since the pictures are gone too. :/ Tomorrow I shall dash to the nearest electronic store and get a camera. Today's Sunday and all shops in Basel are closed; how annoying.
Oh, some good news for me! 2 of my cousins suddenly became engaged, so I hope they'll hold their weddings around my holiday time and I can come visit Singapore and Malaysia soon. :D
And in one and a half weeks I shall be off to England! :) Can't wait to have traditional English cuisine and Asian food! I heard the Chinatown in London is awesome and there's even a Singaporean restaurant! :P

Ahh start of the summer holidays at least! 1 year in Basel and loving it, but still missing Asia. :/ Now the weather's terribly hot like at the Equator, but thank goodness it's not humid like in Singapore. It's still bright at 9.30pm now... I guess it's summer full-swing!
The whole of this week has been dedicated to tennis camp. Started off well, but today was the 4th day, and the coaches started to slacken already. Tsk tsk. And it's a kids camp, so I'm the oldest, but that doesn't matter. Haha, I'm actually learning a bit of Swiss-German at the camp. :) The kids are quite nice; they try to speak to my sis and I in English, knowing we're not fluent in German at all. But they called us pancake-face as East Asians generally have flatter noses and more slitted eyes. -.- Wtv. We admit we don't have facial features as sharp as theirs.
I discovered that holiday time is always crazy eating session for me. I had a great day yesterday gobbling chocolate and banana chips and bread. Disgusting eating patterns. >:(
Oh I was babysitting my teacher's children last week for one day, and I earned CHF75! :)A 3-year-old, two 7-year-olds and a 9-year old. The older children weren't difficult at all, because they could take care of themselves pretty well. The 3-year-old girl was really adorable and quite independent but VERY ATTENTION-SEEKING, which was basically what I needed to give her. I think it was quite a good experience and the girl liked me a lot because I brought 3 of my baby books to read to her and she liked them all so much! Hahaha. And I got a free lunch plus snacks throughout the day for free, and earned some money too! Don't mind doing it again. :P
